As stated in a report by Gizmodo, Google has officially provided them with a 6-month update cycle to accommodate them. It is very clear and understood that this class of users will not be able to keep up with a 4-week update cycle. It has announced a 6-month release schedule in a blog post to help enterprise and education customers stay current with Chrome OS updates. In March, Google announced it would switch to a four-week release cycle for its Chrome browser by the end of this year.
